And if it's not here, message us on WhatsApp. A real person answers.

Stays & booking

One month. That said, we sometimes make exceptions for two weeks. Send us a message and we'll see what we can do.
No. The summer chapter is a fixed cohort with set start and end dates. Banana House runs year-round. Pick any month, arrive when you want, leave when you're ready. Same team, no cohort calendar.
You book through the Casa Basilico join flow. Pick your room and month, pay securely online, and you're set. No deposit haggling or cash at the door.
Of course. A second person sharing your room on a full month is +€100/month. Tell us when you book so we set the room up for two.

What's included

Everything but your groceries: all bills (electricity, water, fast WiFi), weekly cleaning of your room and the shared spaces, and cleaning supplies. From €997/month. No booking fees, no surprise extras.
Yes. Fresh towels, blankets and sheets all provided. Sheets changed every two weeks, towels weekly. Just bring yourself.
Washing machine, yes. Dryer, no. You won't miss it. The island climate and the balconies dry everything in a few sunny hours.
Yes. Fast fibre WiFi throughout the house and a desk in every room, plus the Digital Nomads Madeira coworking HQ a five-minute walk away if you want a change of scene.

Getting here & living here

Three ways: rent a car (handy for hikes and the free parking spot), grab a Bolt for around €35-40, or book Mr. Elso, our private driver, on +351 963 674 092. About 30 minutes from the airport.
A light rain jacket (Madeira weather is moody and wonderful), proper hiking shoes for the levadas, a swimsuit for the sea, and one warm sweater for the evenings. The rest you can buy five minutes downhill.
Not to live. The beach, shops and coworking are a five-minute walk. But a car makes weekend hikes and chasing the island's sunshine much easier, and there's that famous free parking spot in town.
Almost every night. One long table, the whole house, far too much food. When we don't feel like cooking, we go explore the restaurants around. Either way, nobody eats alone.
